Bonorific

Bono was in town, I was kind of dreading this assignment because the bigger the star, the farther away the press has to go. So that's not great for pictures, but it ended up being a really nice event. There was this man, Mogauwane Mahloele playing traditional African kora, which was just really beautiful. It was also a really beautiful night and the sunset and everything just felt really peaceful. So anyway. Here are some Bono photos that I handed in for the paper tonight.

What happened?!

So September was a blog wash. Do I still have any faithful viewers? Did I ever? haha. Things have been a little crazy logistically at work. Jared moved to San Fran, therefore I was the only photographer for a good amount of this month and will be until next week. Also, I've been working in the office more than usual, therefore I do not have access to my photos at home, which is where I post from generally. Anywho. Here's a bit of work I've done. I'll post a whole bunch of stuff soon. If you leave me a comment. Is anyone out there?

A rooftop soccer field on 17th and the Parkway at
Friends Select High School. pretty neat.

goallllioooo. I played this soccer game a few years ago, in the rain, with some friends,
and everytime my friend Mark scored, he put his shirt over his head and screamed,
"goalioooo," like the commentators on soccer games do. So I think of that everytime
I see a soccer goal.

Kind of a weird photo of a cross country team. It was a beautiful day.

Brandywine Street, my old love, also a good example of a traditional Philadelphia row
home with a modern twist. ah real estate.
