We do these pre-season sports guides at the Bulletin. So we drive all over Pennsylvania photographing private and catholic high school sports. Everything, we don't discriminate. It's pretty interesting actually. I went to Plymouth Meeting today and it was beautiful. Here is a photo of some baseball fun in Haverford the other day. I used to hate sports more than anything and now I'm trying to embrace the genre.

Today I heard that John McCain was going to be at the Rittenhouse Hotel about a half hour before he was scheduled to be there. I was about 45 minutes away and figured there was no chance I'd make it. So I rushed down anyway, ran into the hotel and they said he hadn't arrived yet. So I ran back out, looked for a parking spot, parked and ran back to the hotel and as I come in, the TV guys are alerting that he's going to be coming in the hallway I was walking down. Seconds later, there he was. I thought this was interesting because things like this happen so often in photoj and I love those moments when everything just works out.

I spent this past week at a very inspirational Northern Short Course in Rhode Island. I focused on learning what this "multimedia" idea was and realized that it is here, now, and everyone is incorporating it into their daily work. So I've decided that I will make it a part of mine, oh and switch to Canon, so if anyone is in the market for Nikon gear, let me know. I made some additions to my portfolio, so I am going to post a few of those images.
This image is from the Tattoo Convention last year. A group of performers accepted their tips
by having members of the audience staple them to their bodies.
Turkey Bowl, 2006. Rain, Mud, you know the drill
I got to meet Pro-Life Anderson, who legally changed his name, was in attendance at the
Pro-Life Rally this past January in Washington, DC. Anderson is from Savannah, GA.
I love wrestling.
I also love miudino capoeira.
So I went to this game at Villanova and realized that shooting sports isn't so bad when the light is right.
The image of City Hall I last posted reminded me of this little side project I've been working on. My friend is a fine art painter of urban landscapes and he got this idea in my head to just look around in my travels, so I have been. I took this photo on that freakishly warm weekend after the New Year, somewhere West on South Street.
