Bono was in town, I was kind of dreading this assignment because the bigger the star, the farther away the press has to go. So that's not great for pictures, but it ended up being a really nice event. There was this man, Mogauwane Mahloele playing traditional African kora, which was just really beautiful. It was also a really beautiful night and the sunset and everything just felt really peaceful. So anyway. Here are some Bono photos that I handed in for the paper tonight.
I'm not EVEN into Bono or anything. In fact, I think its kind of bizarre that Bono literally (True Story, I promise) picks his fans off the side of the road, chats with them, makes them listen to new U2 albums (that may or may not be true) and then drops them off where ever they need to go. I sorta think thats kind of crazy and yeah, a little awesome. Whatever, is so wrong? Needlesstosay I think what you're doing is pretty phenomenal.
